Professional staff members know their learners well enough to develop and provide a variety of academic and non-academic experiences. Learners have access and choice in most academic and non-academic opportunities available according to grade level or through expected sequencing of courses. Learners rarely encounter barriers when accessing academic and non-academic experiences most suited to their individual needs and well-being. Learners are challenged and supported to strive towards individual achievement and self-efficacy.

Teachers develop a variety of lessons that target students at an appropriate level and rigor. Students are supported through challenging activities and are encouraged to strive for individual and group achievement. Students show evidence of engagement with presentations and reports. Seniors are also offered work experience opportunities to explore careers and gain valuable workforce experience.
Learners participate with confidence when failure is not feared but accepted as a potential step in the learning process. Students participate with confidence when they participate in class projects, class discussions, or peer review. Juniors and seniors have the opportunity to take dual-credit online classes in order to accelerate their learning and earn college credit.
